How do my services work?
I work primarily with one on one consulting. Since everyone’s needs are different, my approach will be different for each individual. From my experience, those with the most success have been motivated from within. Whether it is being tired of the way you feel day to day, or not being satisfied with the doctor’s recommendations, those with the most success have something inside that says, “I want to feel better”. As a coach I can guide and educate you on how to make these changes. This is done primarily through nutritional consulting, but I do emphasize the importance of regular physical exercise. If you feel you are ready to make a change, I will be happy to answer any questions you might have and set up an appointment.
I am available at different times during the week and can work with you to find a time that fits both our schedules. Generally, I am available for appointments Monday and Wednesday daytime (preferred), as well as some evenings. Please note that a minimum of two sessions are required to get an overview of your nutritional status.
What happens after I book the first appointment?
On your first visit I will ask you bring in a 4-6 day record of your food intake, beverages and any supplements that you may be taking, as well as any other observations about your health in general (ie: digestion issues, energy level, reaction to foods, etc). When you arrive (appointment length- one hour), I will ask you a variety of health related questions, review your food journal and give some initial comments and feedback at that time. We will also discuss what changes you are willing to make in your life at this time. We can work in small or big steps, according to your level of comfort.
Between the first and second visit (approximately 1-2 weeks) I will take the gathered information and determine where you are nutritionally out of balance. We work together to establish equilibrium with the goal to achieve better health, energy and longevity. This will mainly include nutritional recommendations, but will also include other aspects to improve your overall health.
At the second session(45 minutes), I will explain my recommended program to you and answer any questions. At that time we can discuss further follow up sessions based on your individual needs to help you achieve long term successful results.
